I just wanted to take a minute to dedicate a post to this beautiful little girl that I absolutely ADORE! She is so full of life. She has amazing creativity. She has the sweetest heart. I just love her so very much.
Every morning I have to wake her up so that we can take Noah to school. This morning, was even earlier because Noah had a club meeting. When we got back home, she proclaimed she was going back upstairs to rest in bed! This was the first time she had ever done that. I told her I would serve her breakfast in bed, whatever she wanted to eat. She chose apple slices!
Every morning she watches TV while she eats her breakfast. It is usually Saved By the Bell or some horse movie. Those are definitely her favorites!
Here's a glimpse into her room. For the longest time I fought her having posters or anything like that hanging on her walls. She would beg and beg. Then I put up two bulletin boards and told her she could hang anything she wanted on there. However, that real estate just wasn't big enough for her. I finally realized that this was HER space. She should feel at home in her space, in her sanctuary. I wanted her to have the freedom to decorate it her own style. As you can see… SHE is a poster lover! They go all around her room.
I have learned to deal with them. Now if I could just get her to keep her room picked up so you can see the floor.
P.S. I do have to admit that as a child, I was a poster lover as well. I had them all over my room. We lived on the water and were always threatened to evacuate when tropical storms, hurricanes, etc came in. I can remember taking down all of those and packing them up every time they mentioned the possibility of an evacuation. Apparently, those posters were quite valuable to me!

LOVE it! She is a precious girl, indeed.
Thank you, Jennifer! I would have to agree!
